Sleep tight!

We accompanied Randall to Rancho Grande- one of Simplot's many ranches. It's a 2 1/2 hour trip, and we left right before bedtime so I put the kids in their pajamas. I looked back and all 3 kids had fallen asleep. They looked so cute and peaceful I just had to snap a picture. My little angels are growing up way too fast!

Cooper had been watching a movie and fell asleep before it was over with the headphones still on :)

Cool water

We took the kids to Roaring Springs water park with some friends of ours. We all had a blast playing in the water. We were worried it wasn't going to be warm enough to go; the weather here has been unseasonably cool and rainy (not that I'm complaining any--- the 100 degree temps at the end of May were a bit too much for me).

Cooper is about 1/2 an inch too short to go on some of the slides, but most of the lifeguards just let him go without batting an eye. Then Randall took him up one that you ride 4 people on a tube. The lifeguard made him stand next to the measuring stick, said he was too short, and sent he and Randall back down the STAIRS. Cooper cried the whole way down, "I want to go on the green slide!" He was quite upset about it. The real kicker is that the lifeguard didn't even measure our friend's little girl, and unless Cooper is standing right next to her, you can't tell that she's any taller! And, it was a 4 person per tube slide that went really quite slow. In contrast, they let Carson go down a slide with me that even scared me a little! I don't get it...

Lainee didn't get wet, but she did have a nice nap in the stroller!

How does your garden grow?

Cooper and Carson have been helping me with the garden. We planted it a few weeks ago, and so far its looking good! We have planted strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, watermelon, canteloupe, onions, beans, peas, carrots, zucchini, peppers, pumpkins, spinach, lettuce, and beets and corn. Yum!

Happy 4th Birthday Cooper!

Today Cooper turns 4 years old. I can hardly believe how much my little boy is growing up. Its crazy! Cooper is such a fun-loving little boy. Except, he's not so little anymore. He constantly informs me that he is a "big boy" now. He is very smart (sometimes a little too smart for his own good :) He is a wonderful big brother and even though he and Carson have their moments of not getting along, I now he genuinely cares about his little brother and sister. He loves to go to work with his dad and is quite helpful when he goes. Cooper has a contagious smile and laugh and gives GREAT hugs! We love you Cooper!

(I'll try and add some pictures later)
