Rigby's 2009 Junior Miss...

Maureah Raymond! We went to watch Randall's little sister compete in the Junior Miss Pageant. She looked beautiful and did great-- obviously, because she won the whole thing. She actually won every category- fitness, talent, scholastic, self expression and interview. The funny thing is, she didn't care if she won. I guess that's part of the reason she did so well- she wasn't worried about it; she just did it for the experience and to have fun. We're so proud of you Maureah!

Lunchtime nap

If Randall gets a chance to come home for lunch and has a few minutes before he goes back to work, this is how he chooses to spend his time. I just couldn't help but take a picture, because it was soooo cute. Randall started out with Lainee and ended up with Carson when Lainee decided it was time to eat.

All Ears!

Cooper and Carson occassionally have a hard time listening. The other night Randall asked them if they were listening, and if they were to show him their ears. This was the result:

March Madness!

Randall and I are big March Madness fans (NCAA basketball tournament). Every year we fill out a bracket and see who can get the most winners right.
So, this year some of the 1st and 2nd round games are being held in Boise. And guess who just happened to be playing? Utah State (Randall's alma mater) vs. Marquette. And guess who just happened to get tickets? Randall. He took his brother Kade, since I thought it would be much too loud to take Lainee. And it turns out, Lainee would have needed her OWN ticket. How lame is that? Anyway, Utah State ended up losing by one point, but Randall and Kade had a great time! They also got to watch the next game which was Missouri vs. Cornell.

First fishing trip of the year

Last Saturday we went fishing with Tom & Mandy. We tried out a little pond in downtown Boise. The pond was supposed to be stocked with a lot of fish, but we didn't catch anything, and neither did anyone else we saw. Hmmm...
We did have a good time though. Check out these pics!

1 Month Old!

Lainee is 1 month old today... I can hardly believe it! I took her to the doctor yesterday for a checkup and she weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. She's growing and oh, so beautiful!

She belongs to...

Cooper and Carson have been such good big brothers to Lainee. I was really concerned about Carson being jealous (he's always been more of a mama's boy and more clingy than Cooper was). However, he hasn't really been jealous at all! He still gets jealous when I hold other people's kids, but when I hold Lainee he knows she's his sister so its okay. He's always touching her hand and saying, "Wainee, cute?" Yes, she is very cute. And yes, that's what Carson calls her--- "Wainee Soup" (Lainee Sue).

Cooper is very protective and loves to hold Lainee for long stretches of time. While my mom and Shalani were here helping me out we were watching a movie with the kids. Cooper had been holding Lainee for quite a while and Randall said, "Hey bud, it's my turn to hold her."
Cooper: "No, I want to hold her still!"
Randall: "But she's my little girl."
Cooper: No dad, she belongs to all of us!"

I just thought that was so cute. Some days are definitely a challenge with 3 kids to look after. But I sure do love them, and I know they love each other. What more can I ask for?
