This is how we roll...

I just had to get a picture of the kids before we went for our afternoon walk to the mailbox the other day (our mailbox is 1/2 mile down the road). It was a bit chilly, so we had to bundle up. The kids love to get out for our walk. Cooper has become a good little bike rider (with his training wheels). He usually wants to go further than our 1 mile round trip. He can even keep up while I jog a bit. What a trooper!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

My sweet hubbie proposed to me on this day 7 years ago. Its hard to believe how fast the time has passed, and I think I can say for both of us, that life couldn't be better. We're more in love than ever, and we have 3 beautiful children.

To celebrate the day, I prepared a festive dinner. We had traditional Irish Corned Beef and Cabbage, Irish Soda Bread, Green Beans, Green Applesauce, Green lemonade, and Green Pistachio Bundt Cake. Cooper and Carson got a real kick out of all the green foods.

Field Trip to the Fire Station

Cooper's Pre-K Class took a little field trip to the fire station on March 11, 2010. (Carson, Lainee & I tagged along). Unfortunately it turned out to be a rather cold and VERY windy day, and the field trip involved walking from the school to the fire station. Its only a few blocks, but the wind made the walking part a bit miserable. The kids all loved climbing in and out of the fire trucks, though! Afterwards, their picnic lunch in the park was changed to a picnic lunch inside the school. All-in-all we had a fun time!

My Little Cowboys

Cooper went on a horse ride with Randall the other day while Carson took a nap. By the time they got back, Carson was awake and didn't want to miss out on the fun. They think they're pretty cool cowboys! And thanks to Grandpa Clark they both have the saddles and belt buckles to prove it!

Lainee's 12 month checkup

I took Lainee to the doctor today for her 12 month checkup (finally).
She received 6 shots. Ouch!!!
Don't let those chubby cheeks fool you-
she only weighs 18 pounds and 6 ounces (~15th percentile)
She is 29 1/4 inches (~65th percentile)
So she is a tall and skinny little girl!
