Ashlin's Blessing Day

We blessed Ashlin in church yesterday. While I had hoped for a little warmer weather, we did have some sunshine. The wind even died down for a bit! It meant a lot to us to have so many of our family and friends here to celebrate the life of our beautiful Ashlin. All of our family members had to travel 3-4 hours to get here, and we are so grateful they were willing make the trip and come! Randall gave Ashlin a beautiful blessing... I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband who is a worthy priesthood holder and is able to give spiritual blessings to our children.

Aunt Sharlie (Randall's sister) made Ashlin's dress. Didn't she do a beautiful job?!!! Sharlie is amazing... she even has her own etsy shop: babes'nbeads

More wedding day pictures

My uncle Doug took these. Thanks Doug for helping us capture how beautiful Ashlin was at 7 weeks old!

Our cute little family (I guess most people wouldn't consider 4 kids a small family anymore, haha, but my kids are certainly cute!) Lainee
My kids plus cousins Abby & Jaiden with Spence & Kiana
Lainee loved holding Kiana's flowers
Kiana getting her kiss from the cutest 2 boys around--- you better watch out Spence! Just the sisters... Shalani, Kiana, Melissa My cousin Janis took these pictures. I must say, she is very talented! I'm grateful she was willing to take them, because we forgot our camera for the reception!

Little sister Kiana gets married!

I can't believe my little sister is married! Saturday, March 19th was the special day. She got engaged the day after Ashlin was born... engagement day to wedding day was only 6 weeks! It's definitely been a crazy and chaotic, somewhat overwhelming 6 weeks, but I am so happy for Kiana and Spence!

Gotta love the boots with the wedding dress!

Yes, it was cold! But what would you expect for Southeastern Idaho in March?

Fun at Grandma's

We headed over to Idaho Falls so we could be in attendance when my sister Kiana went through the temple on Saturday, March 12, 2011. Later that afternoon I put on a bridal shower for her. lthe next Saturday I decided to stay at my mom's and help with wedding preparations. I kept Carson, Lainee and Ashlin with me. Randall headed back home with Cooper so they could work and Cooper could attend school. Randall and Cooper had a great "man's week," but had I known ahead of time how crazy busy Randall was going to be, I might have rethought my plans. Let's just say Cooper spent more than one night sleeping in the backseat of the pickup while Randall worked- calving Charolais is a full time job- especially when it involves a research project! We all survived the week and managed to pull off a wedding in 6 weeks thanks to my mom. I wish I could take more credit, but really I only helped that last week while I was there.

She's started smiling A LOT this past week!
