This year we were able to spend some time with both our family's for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, we only got the camera out once while were at Randall's parents. But we had a great time seeing grandparents watching the kids play with all their cousins.

The roads, on the other hand, were absolutely TERRIBLE! I don't think we've ever made a trip on such awful roads. There were cars off and wrecks everywhere! Our usual 4-hour trip took nearly 8 hours, boths ways. Yuck! We feel very blessed to have traveled safely.

First Snowfall of the Season

It snowed Friday night. The kids were so excited to wake up Saturday morning and see fluffy white stuff out the window. Snow just doesn't happen here as much as it did in good old Star Valley, Wyoming!

As soon as the boys were done with breakfast, they dug out the snow gear and headed outside. Later, Randall helped them each build a snow man. It MAY have taken just about every ounce of snow on our lawn to build those two snow men, but they did it!

Even Sally had to join in on the fun!

Family Fun Night

Our local PTA sponsored a Family Fun Night last weekend. It was a great way to spend time together while being physically active! We all had fun stretching, running around, jumping rope and riding around on scooter boards.

Curious George at the Library!

Last week Curious George visited our Library for Family Reading Night. The kids all had a blast meeting George and doing some fun crafts!

Lainee loves the library!

Carson was a little nervous around George and would only be in the picture if I was holding him.

PJ's and Cowboy Boots

Lainee loves shoes... she is always putting on someone else's shoes and walking around the house. The other night before bed she found Carson's cowboy boots and put them over top of her footie pajamas. Not to be outdone, Cooper and Carson had to try out the boots and pj look, too.

Randall thought we needed a picture of the two of us together--not something that happens very often.

Happy Halloween 2010!

Captain Hook Cooper

Peter Pan Carson

TinkerBell Lainee

We had a fun and crazy Halloween this year. We helped with a roping/benefit auction fundraiser for our friends (the Halls who just lost their baby girl) all day Saturday. That evening we attended the elementary school's carnival. The kids all had lots of fun there. I had to stay and help clean up so I sent Randall and the kids to the community pizza party and joined them later. We also snuck in a few minutes for trick or treating- only to a select few houses. But those few houses we are expected to stop at make sure they load our kids' baskets up with candy!

Carving pumpkins

We had a great time carving up our pumpkins this year. I love to see the designs the kids each choose for their jack-o-lantern. Lainee's is innocent and sweet, Carson's is mean and mischievious, and Cooper's is evil looking. So fun!
