The kids are out for Spring Break this week, and Cooper made us quite a list of things he wanted to do. Luckily, the list didn't contain anything extravagant: Go fishing, shoot rock chucks, go on 4-wheeler, go for a walk, go horseback riding.
For family night on Monday we were invited by some friends to bo bowling on the air base. We didn't tell the kids what we were doing, only that we were going to a suprise activity. They all had lots of fun!
Haha! Do you think Lainee is excited?!!
Yep... Ashlin's walking!!! She's been "able" to walk for about a month now, but it wasn't until last week that she decided she "wanted" to walk. Anyone who as has been around my kids about the time they turned a year shouldn't be surpised that Ashlin didn't walk by her first birthday. Cooper didn't walk until he was nearly 15 months old. Carson, who didn't even like to stand (he would literally pick up his feet and hold them up if you tried to make him stand!) didn't walk until he was nearly 18 months old! Lainee walked at about 14 months. Ashlin crawled earlier than the other kids, and she's been standing freely since Christmas time. So I thought maybe she would be walking before now. But I haven't pushed her. She is my 4th child afterall, and I know by now that once they start walking, there is no keeping up with them. Plus, I have this underlying issue with keeping her little as long as possible. What if she's my last!? Sigh... my babies are growing up!
