Randall was out of town on his birthday this year. The kids were more disappointed about it than Randall was. Cooper kept saying, "But Mom, Dad can't be gone on his birthday! Then he can't have people come over to celebrate and have cake!" Anyway, we ended up inviting some friends over for peanut butter pie the Sunday after his birthday and having a little celebration. It was low-key, but fun.
